I chose learning styles as my topic because I think that it is important for teachers to undersxtand how students learn. I am also a Psychology major.
Top 5 things I learned:
1. How to make a wiki.
2.There are different ideas about learning styles.
3.By using learning styles all children can be included in the classroom.
4.There are many resources available for kids that need help with their learning style.
5.Children with special needs are better included in the classroom when teachers focus on thier strengths.
If you only have time to see one resource I would check out number 1.

3. This is a resource from the personal learning network for educators. It claims that "the theory of Learning Styles (LS) has lost credibility". This may be true; however I think that everyone learns in their own way. I rate this video 3/5.

6. This is a video about how a school uses individual strengths of the student to help them succeed better. I rate this video 3/57. This is another video on learning styles. It is pretty boring, but I'm running out of "good" options. I give this video 2/5.8. This is a funny video on how the learn math. I give it a 4/5 for funniness, and a 1/5 for relevance.
